Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-housing
Preventing individuals and families from spiraling into homelessness is an essential element of the Family Promise of Bristol mission. We offer a variety of strategies to ensure the people we support do not fall into the cycle of housing instability. These include administering formal diversion programs, providing rental assistance and landlord mediation, and developing community-based approaches that keep families housed. Family Promise of Bristol helps coordinate community groups and agencies to address the root causes of homelessness. We address the issue holistically, providing prevention services, shelter and case management when they become homeless, and stabilization programs once they have secured housing to ensure they remain stabilized. People come in crisis; we support the rebuilding of their lives with ongoing support.
